Holiday Mini Catalog

Simply Magical Christmas

Welcome to a bright, new shiny week! The weekend went by in a whiz-bang around here. I don’t know about you, but I needed another day or two. But alas, we’re off and running on this week.

Exciting things are here in crafty land! EIGHT new releases have hit the online store today — the new holiday catalog, the new Online Exclusives, the new Hot Foil Magic catalog, new kits, a new craft class, a new Product of the Month, and a couple of other things I can’t remember right at the moment. Whew.

So this week’s theme is all about the holidays, which will span a whole host of holiday goodness from September to December. And we’re getting started with a super simple and gorgeously stunning holiday card using one of the new hot foil bundles — Magical Christmas.

I used a neutral base of white cardstock. A sheet of the textured foil sheets from the Neutral Noel paper pack covers the entire card front. I hot foiled the Magical Christmas plate in gold foil on a sheet of Garden Green cardstock and then cut it down so there were narrow borders all the way around and matted this panel with a sheet of the red Timeless Metallic specialty paper cut with the largest Perennial Postage die. We adhere our focal panel to the card front with dimensionals and add some of the Christmas epoxy shapes willy nilly on the card front for little pops of color and interest amongst our Christmas sentiments and finish things off with a bow of holiday baker’s twine in the corner.

This is super shiny and eye-catching in person. And it comes together in no time flat. You can easily make a whole set in one crafting session! We’re going to be making all sorts of holiday cards this week. We’ll be dreaming of sweater weather with tomorrow’s design. I hope you’ll drop by and check it out.

On My Desk

Howdy, friends! Did you miss me? I’ve sure missed being in my studio! It’s been a crazy week around here with a super busy work schedule. So every free minute I’ve had has been spent with the family or catching much-needed Zzzzzz. But I wanted to drop in to let you know that I haven’t forgotten about our patterns & textures design series. And I’m planning to hop right back into it once the ol’ work schedule allows.

In the meantime, I wanted to share with you a little sneak peek at the brand new goodies that arrived — all from the new release that drops in just a little under 2 weeks.

I’ve broken my shopping list into a couple of orders and this is part one. And I can’t WAIT to have some time to start playing with all this good stuff. So hopefully you can hang with me as I craft in fits and spurts for the next couple of weeks! We’ll be exploring all this new loot and picking out part two!

Making a List and Checking It Twice

One of the many benefits of being a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator is getting to check out all of the goodies in the upcoming catalogs before they release. My faithful office assistant Nolan and I are making our must-have list from the upcoming January Mini and Sale-a-Bration catalogs.

Would you like to receive a copy of the upcoming catalogs but don’t have a SU! demonstrator? Drop me an e-mail and I’ll send you one!

Would you rather see everything early for yourself? The only way to do that is to become a demonstrator. And did you know that you don’t have to become a demonstrator for the purposes of making it a business? There are plenty of hobby demonstrators who have joined to receive a discount on all of their favorite products and for the chance to see all of the new products before they officially release. Want to know more? Drop me a line and we’ll chat!
