Welcome! My name is Susan Fox-Bowen and I am an independent Stampin’ Up!® demonstrator located in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. I have been a paper crafter for more than 15 years and have a small business dedicated to all things paper crafts. Aside from being an avid crafter, I also enjoy gardening and moonlight as a semi-professional singer. I joined Stampin’ Up!® last summer and am a member of the Bright Star Stampers team under the Luv 2 Stamp Group.
About My Business
Where did your business name come from?
One of my favorite hymns is His Eye is on the Sparrow. I have been singing on stage since I was six and have made numerous stage appearances across the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex over the last 20 years, so it seemed fitting to choose a song sparrow as the icon of my business. Did you know that song sparrows are found in every state in the United States and are the most common and widespread sparrow that is native to North America? Male song sparrows perform between 6 and 20 melodies and average approximately 2,300 songs during a single day. Amazing!
My business partner and I have run a small papercrafts business, High Notes Ink, for more than 10 years. As we found it harder to build product and fill orders as a duo, I needed a bit more support to keep the business running and I had also been looking to branch out in what I could offer to customers. So I made a pivot and Song Sparrow Papercrafts was born! As an independent Stampin’ Up!® demonstrator, I have access to all of the popular new designs, colors, and tools. Here, I’ll be showcasing all of my latest SU!® projects and designs, offering tutorials, hosting some classes, and keeping you in-the-know on SU!® promotions.
